Madeira seems to be a popular destination for our honeymoon clients. On this vacation we have added in another special touch for honeymooners that do not want only to stay on an island, but also to do a bit of sightseeing for part of the trip.

The first half of the trip is spent on Madeira relaxing and taking romantic nature walks in the sub-tropical forests.

Then for the 2nd half you will fly into Porto, the Vintage destination of Portugal. Here you will have a chance to visit the city and one of the many Port wine lodges.


Now you will leave Portugal driving up through the Green Coast crossing over the border into Galicia, Spain and continuing by highway until you will have time to explore the area and then continue up to visit Santiago de Compostela the Capital of Galicia, and the end of the Pilgrimage way to Santiago, which is celebrating the Holy Year Xacobeo 2004. Here you will enjoy a privately guided tour of the old quarter.



As well exploreing the Rias Baixas coast, visit a small village and stay in the noble town of Baiona. You will enjoy a wine day tour with a local wine guide visiting one of the many Albariño wineries in the wine region D.O. Rias Baixas.




Ending your trip you will drive by highway down to Lisbon, the vibrant capital of Portugal, where you will stay your last couple of days visiting the city and the surrounding villages like, Sintra and Cascais.

DAY 1:
LISBON - FUNCHAL, MADEIRA ISLAND
- Arrival to Lisbon, connecting flight* on to Funchal, Madeira (*Not included)
- Welcome to Madeira
- Upon arrival to Funchal take a taxi to your hotel (NOTE: Private transfer are available, inquire for rates)
- Check-in hotel
- Dinner on your own
- Overnight in Funchal


DAY 2:
FUNCHAL
- Breakfast
- Explore FUNCHAL as you please, visit a winery, walk the streets etc... or have a privately guided tour (see Add-ons)
- Lunch & Dinner on your own
- Overnight in Funchal

- In the morning take a flight* over to Porto Santo (*Not Included , 30mins in duration approx.)

FUNCHAL - (FLY) PORTO SANTO
- Breakfast

- Explore the Island of Porto Santo with excellent beaches

DAY 6:
PORTO SANTO - (FLY) FUNCHAL, MADEIRA ISLAND - (FLY) PORTO - BAIONA
- Breakfast
- Check-out* (*Before 12:00PM)
- Take a taxi to Porto Santo airport
- Then take a flight* over to Funchal (*Not Included)
- Take a flight* over to Porto (*Not Included)
- Pick up your car rental upon arrival to Porto Airport
- Depending on your arrival time you could either go along the Costal road of Northern Portugal or by highway up to Baiona, Galicia, Spain (NOTE: It is around a 2hr drive to Baiona and in Spain the time is +1hr)
- If you go by the coast you could make a stop in Viana do Castelo where you could visit theold quarter and then the Basilica of Santa Luzia on the Hill of Santa Luzia with panoramic view of the coastline.
- After this make you way up further and passing by Valença do Minho to cross over the Miño river to Tui, Galicia, Spain whereas you could continue by highway to Baiona on the Galician Coast
- Lunch and Dinner on your own
- Overnight in Baiona

BAIONA

- Day at your leisure to explore on your own or discover this area with a private guide (see Add-ons)
