Andalusia, land of olive-trees, deep blue skies and whitewashed towns… We will
focus our visit in Western Andalusia provinces: Seville, Huelva, Cadiz, and
Cordoba. Seville has inspired travellers for centuries. Its beauty and charm
come from a mixture of many elements; its legacy of great Moorish and Christian
architecture, the myths of Carmen and Don Juan, flamenco music, its incomparable
fiestas, the brilliant sunshine, its inhabitants who live life to the fullest...
We could go on and on.
Seville is also a great place for discovering the cuisine and wines of
Andalusia. The city itself is considered by many to be the best place in Spain
for tapas, the small portions of food served in almost every bar in the city.
There is something to suit all tastes be it meat, seafood, vegetables,
charcuterie, olives, cheese etc. Also, without having to travel far from Seville
we will visit the areas where fine sherry, superb ham and high-quality olive oil
are produced. That is Jerez in the province of Cadiz for Sherry, Sierra de
Aracena (North of Huelva province) for Iberico ham and Cordova for olive oil.
 Cordoba
is a rural province far from the topics of the coastal Andalusia. We will visit
its countryside, land of olive groves, vineyards, small orchards and smooth
downs. We will visit an old traditional olive oil mill. We will learn how to
taste their different olive oils and discover Cordoban cuisine which has its own
recipes like "Salmorejo", local version of "Gazpacho".
Your hotels, in the historic centre of Seville (4 nights) and Cordoba (2
nights), are some of the most charming in the cities and will serve as the
perfect bases for your stay here.

DAY 1:
SEVILLE
- Arrival in Seville.
- You will be collected from the airport or
train station and taken to your hotel
- There will be a welcome evening meal with
your tour guide and a stroll around part of
the historic centre
- Overnight in Seville

DAY 2:
SEVILLE
- Breakfast
- Cookery day
- After a visit to one of the local markets
you will be given a hands-on cooking class
with our cooking instructor Ruth Roberts
- You will learn to prepare a number of
mouth-watering tapas. Lunch will be taken on
the terrace which offers spectacular views
of the cathedral and Giralda
- After, you will enjoy a free evening.
- Overnight in Seville

DAY 3:
SEVILLE - SIERRA OF ARACENA - JABUGO -
ARACENA - SEVILLE
- Breakfast
- Excursion to the Sierra of Aracena, 90km.
(56 miles) Northeast of Seville, in the
province of Huelva
- We will first visit a farm to see how the
Iberian pig is reared before going on to the
village of Jabugo to see the facilities of
one of the best Iberico ham producers.
- After finding out how this gastronomic
delicacy is cured you will get to taste it
along with a glass of fino sherry, a perfect
match
- It’s then on to Aracena where we will have
a gourmet lunch in the finest local
restaurant.
- On our return to Seville you can enjoy a
leisurely evening on your own.
- Overnight in Seville

DAY 4:
SEVILLE - JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA - VEJER DE LA
FRONTERA - SEVILLE
- Breakfast
- Excursion to Jerez to visit one of the
most emblematic wineries there. In addition
to the visit it you will have the
opportunity to taste different types of
Sherries.
- Continue to Vejer de la Frontera, for a
cooking lesson with prestigious chef Jean
Pierre Vandelle at his wonderful “cortijo” (Andalusian
rural house) surrounded by olives trees.
- He will teach you several tips related to
the use of olive oil in cooking
- Then, you will go to the charming white
village of Vejer for a short visit.
- Returning to Seville you are free for the
evening.
- Overnight in Seville

DAY 5:
SEVILLE - CORDOBA
- Breakfast
- After checking out, we will bring you to
the train station to take the AVE, the
high-speed train to Cordoba, which only
takes 45’ to arrive there.
- You will check in at one of the most
charming hotels in central Cordoba, where
you will have free time for a lunch.
- At the afternoon, our guide will pick you
up at the hotel for a guided visit of the
town, including the famous Mosque.
- Dinner will take place at the best
restaurant in Cordoba, located in a
beautiful winery.
- Overnight in Cordoba.

DAY 6:
CORDOBA - CASTRO DEL RIO OR BAENA - CORDOBA
- Breakfast
- Guided olive oil excursion with private
car and chauffer to Castro del Rio or Baena,
in the province of Cordoba
- Visit to olive groves, and olive oil
tasting.
- Full lunch with wines at the old
“almazara” converted into a wonderful rustic
restaurant.
- Back to Cordoba where you will have some
free time for rest.
- Dinner will consist of a tapas tour with
the guide around old Cordoba
- Overnight in Cordoba.
