- PALAS DE REI, Its name makes reference to Alphonso the ninth, king of both Galica and León, who specially favoured this town Nevertheless, there is a popular legend which tells that its name comes from the visigothic king Witiza who had his palace here.
- The last stage passes through the lands of Melide and Arzua.
