		On this scheduled coach excursion from Madrid you will be taken on a guided visit of El Escorial Monastery. ESCORIAL: The Royal Monastery of El Escorial is an imposing 16th Century building. Phillip II ordered its construction and its main architect was Juan Herrera to whom it owed most of its design and building. Many of the best artisans of that period also took part in the process. The Monastery also houses the Mausoleum of the Spanish Monarchs, and it is considered as one of the Eight Wonders of the World.
