Barcelona 2004 - Barcelona made the great jump to the
international tourism sphere by organizing in 1992 one of
the best Olympic events history has seen. Now, in 2004,
Barcelona surprises the world once more by hosting the I
Culture Forum, where more than five million people will
gather in a unique city. (Text: Turespaña © 2004). Visit

Dali
2004 - Celebration
of the centenary of the birth of Salvador Dalí. Dalí was
born in Figueres in 1904. After finishing his studies at
Madrid's Residencia de Estudiantes, where he met Federico
García Lorca and Luis Buñuel, Dalí moved to Catalonia, and
later to Paris. His artistic career ripened among a group of
surrealist painters and writers. He soon became one of the
most renowned exponents of Surrealism. (Text: Turespaña ©

special event.
If you are thinking of attending one of these fine
events we can help with all your travel needs. Whether it be
a
private airport transfer,
hotel stay or
even
privately guided tours to get to know the city and its
surroundings. Some great suggestions for sightseeing in
Barcelona are Gaudi's Barcelona and Panoramic City Tour, The Walking tour of Gothic Quarter, Cathedral and Picasso Museum,
etc... For travellers with a gourmet appetite try a Cooking Class
or Tapa tour in Barcelona.
Venturing outside of Barcelona learn more in-depth about
Catalan Cuisine on our Short-Break Cooking and Wine Holiday in El Priorat
or if you have a few more days try a Culinary Vacation in El Priorat.
For wine lovers this is an excellent area to enjoy some wine
touring either a half-day Cava Winery Tour,
full-day VIP Wine Tour in Penedes with a Private Driver/Wine Guide Expert,
short-break Catalan Wine Escape
or an extend-tour Catalan Wine Journey: Costa Brava, Emporda, Barcelona, Penedes and Priorat
taking in all the famous wine regions.
Moving on to the heart of the Costa Brava visit Girona and Salvador Dali’s Museum.
Experience this picturesque coastline from the sea on a Sailing day trip along the Costa Dourada from Barcelona to Sitges.
Apart from all these suggestions we can create a customized
tour just for you, for example a self-drive Discovering the Jewish Gems of Catalonia, Spain.
