within a restored 19th-century pazo (Galician country
house) located just on the outskirts of the monumental town of
Santiago de Compostela where you will be staying
at the
Parador de Santiago - Hostal dos Reis Catolicos
(Former Hospital built by the Catholic Kings),
considered to be the oldest hotel in the world classed at a
five star
grand luxury.
Roberto's cooking is luxurious but
relatively simple, giving a twist to traditional Galician
dishes. We will try vieiras (scallops) oven-roasted in their shells with Albariño wine,
turbot with potatoes and mushrooms, local beef sirloin with
shiitake, foie gras and pine nuts, etc...
A true culinary escape!
In the big cities
like;
Madrid,
Barcelona, Seville... we can also offer
half-day cooking classes which can be based on
Traditional
or Avant-garde cuisine. Apart from cooking we have

Ribera del Duero,

Penedes/Priorat and

few days of wine country touring try our
