With
spring around the corner we are now featuring new tours which
will get you outdoors discovering nature and culture while
sampling local food and wines as you go.
For starters we have a special trip to announce... EATour’s Co-Founder, Sean O'Rourke has been invited to join/escort an unforgettable
small ship cruise to small ship cruise to the hidden corners of Celtic Europe. For over 10 years now
Sean has been guiding tours in Galicia, North-Western Spain showing visitors the
sites of this forgotten Celtic Land. He is very excited to be part of this
Celtic Quest since one of his many pastimes is studying ancient Celtic history
to find out how Galicia is connected to the other Celtic nations (Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany
and Isle of Man) which you will be exploring
on this journey.
This memorable 13 day small ship Celtic Europe cruise will set sail from Vigo
(Spain), largest fishing port in Europe and end in Greenock, Glasgow (Scotland) another important Celtic port. Discover along the way the
rich regional
traditions and the ties that unify; language, music, migration,
ancestry and
maybe even ale! Onboard the luxurious ninety-four passenger
MS Andrea we take
the road less travelled, visiting small island communities, wild islands, and
important historical and archaeological sites including highlight excursions to
the sacred pilgrimages of Santiago de Compostela and Iona. A trip not to be
passed up, mark this one on your calendar and join in on the Celtic Ceilidh!
Cruising not for you? Then how about Biking? We have added some new and
exciting bike adventures across Spain. Follow along the St. James Way to Santiago in a
small group guided bike tour or self-guided bike tour. Next year will be the Holy Year Xacobeo 2010 so you can either beat the crowd and do the ride this year, or join
the crowd and ride the trail during the Holy Year. Cycle through the vineyards and sample wines in the famous wine regions of La Rioja and Ribera del Duero.
Riding South in the Andalusian Sun passing small white-washed villages,
Olive
groves, etc… Trace important routes of the Spanish Conquistadors in the land of Extremadura or Fonseca’s Route along the sliver way from Salamanca to Santiago.
Leave the busy city of Barcelona behind, pedal the Medieval Routes of Southern Catalunya on this
biking wine tour.
Well that’s a wrap on the newly added tours… if you can’t find what you’re
looking for then drop us a line, because apart from all the ready-made tours we
can customize a trip just for you step by step with one of our
specialist!

The trip was wonderful and you did a terrific job putting together
the program for us. There was lots to see and do and all of our
senses were fully engaged. The drivers from the various transfers
were very professional - all were prompt and most helpful. The
private tour guides were excellent! The excursions were most
interesting. I would certainly have no hesitation recommending
EATours to anyone that is planning a trip to Spain/Portugal...
