On this private day tour in Lisbon we will visit the sites where the Earthquake 1755 destroyed Lisbon
and The places where it didn’t destroyed. The mega-earthquake of 1755 and the
tidal wave that followed this had devastating effects, resulting in enormous
material and human losses. The destruction of the city’s built heritage led to
an unprecedented reconstruction programme and created an opportunity for the
development of new solutions, not only at the level of architecture and civil
engineering, but also in the field of town planning.
Tapas means -cover-. Portugal is famous for its fish and shellfish and a tapa bar
is a great place to sample the array. Fried fish,
 from
tiny fresh anchovies and rings of tender squid to chunks of fresh hake and
batter-dipped prawns are enticing, in deed. The selection of shellfish will
astound you-clams and razorshells, mussels, prawns ranging in size from the
tiny to the jumbo; crab, lobster, and more. We have a variety of hot dishes. Some
are cooked to order-prawns pil pil, sizzled with garlic and oil; garlicky
grilled pork loin-while others are dished out of a bubbling stew-pot. You can
savour meatballs in almond sauce, kidneys in Sherry sauce, sautéed mushrooms,
chicken fried al ajillo, with garlic; lamb stew; broad beans with ham; piquant
tripe, spicy snails, and, of course, tortilla, a thick round potato omelette.
Crisp-fried fritters and croquettes are other great tapas of Andalusia, which
produces the world's finest olive oil.

hotel, the airport or cruise port in Lisbon

house in Lisbon, in a quarter of 18th
century.
- Visit Alfama, Praça do Comércio, St Jorge
Castle, Rossio, Chiado, Bairro Alto
- We will visit one of the few *tapas
restaurants in Lisbon. With its colorful
decoration, the restaurante serves a great
variety of tapas. Don't forget to leave some
space in your stomach for the delicious
desserts! Due the many tapas you can find,
we prefer than the client choose what they
want to taste. The Tapas is not included and
must order directly at the Restaurant.
