Introduction:

Cortijo La Corbera is the home of Alfonso Gonzalo de Bustos and is situated on caretera Estacion Don Rodrigo KM 75, Uterara (Sevilla) approx 20 km from Seville.

At La Corbera we have over 25 horses, of mixed breeds - mainly hispano-arabs. They are all forward going and a real pleasure to ride.

We always try to accommodate the wishes of our clients - let us know what you want to do: whether it´s riding for an hour or two in the surrounding countryside or perhaps stopping for tapas in a small bar along the way - we will try and organize it for you.

ABOUT THE HORSES:

The horses are Andalusian crosses - Hispano Arab or Hispano-anglo-arab - the horses mostly used for the work with the cattle. The Spanish - Andalusian horse belongs to a medium size category, normally weighting about 500kg and 1,60 high. The Andalusian horse is spirited, strong, temperamental and of unquestionable courage. The counterpoint of these qualities is its docility, being a very sensitive horse, obedient and easy to handle. The Andalusian horse possesses, through inheritance, a measured and balanced command of its movements and it is a delight to ride. The horses have been carefully bred and trained. The terrain is excellent to ride - mainly sandy paths and pastures. Therefore the pace can easily be suited to the riders ability. Riders requirements: The tack is English saddle.
