 Macià
Batle, a vineyard included in the “denomination” of origin Binissalem,
has
produced wine since 1856. Macià Batle cultivates mainly traditional
grapes like Manto negro for red wine and Moll or Prensal
for white wine. In 1996 the inheritors of the vineyard decided to continue
the family tradition by building a new Bodega with the most modern
technology to produce quality-tested wines.
In 1998 the first wine was developed in the new Bodega – it was a complete
success! At the moment Macià Batle is able to produce 600.000 l of wine per
year. For a short time Macià Batle has added another section to wine: art and
wine culture! In the large tasting hall, different activities take place on the
subject of Wine-growing and Art.
